Shipping on the Apexi exhausts is REALLY high, because they are one piece (LIKE $125 from NOPI)

Shipping on the HKS Hiper is only like $25, so I think I'm gonna have to go with that one

well, if money matters in this application, why don't you just buy a nice free flow muffler and do a custom cat back pipe? I didn't want to go to nuts with my exhaust, so I left my resonator muffler and kept the diameter of the piping 2.25", only cost me $144.00 CAD for the install, w/hangers and such. For a custom 2.5" cat back pipe, they quoted me $250 CAD, which is still alot cheaper than any brand name system, minus the brand name.

You guys really want to pay extra for a name, when you can just study the exhaust and fab your own, and spend the money you save on other goodies?

just a suggestion, and everyone loves the sound of my pipe BTW. Car revs further, faster. Didn't notice a huge power gain though (with 168HP NA, I didn't expect to feel one).

enjuku, had the best price by far on my exhaust. I ordered Apexi N1 dual, shipping on it was only liks 60 I think. The total price shipped was 520. That was for the N1 dual, not sure about the single N1. I would recommed the dual though.

sheadee240, yea i knew that shipping was really high for the N1 single. its like over 9ft long, so thats why:( dcmetro240, i still have yet to see what the dual looks like on the s14. i don't wanna buy it and then not like the look at all. i love the N1 single's look, so thats one reason i want that so bad.

I've seen it on a black '95 that goes to the same auto-cross club as me and it's a B*M*F*er.

The two cans sweep upwards and towards the driver side (US) on the way out, and it looks awesome in my opinion.

My resonator needs to be replaced, so figure a hundred for the muffler a hundred for the resonator and a $150 for pipe hangers, and labor

And after all that I'd rather spend an extra $150 for mandrel bent pipes that increase performance instead of just making more noise.

The HKS Hiper is good stuff. I just got it, and it looks, sounds, and feels great. After a good 30 mins of driving, the piping gets hot, and boy is it deep as hell!

I got mine for $565 (total w/ tax/install).

Not too bad.

Nick.

I went Apexi dual. It was $545 shipped to CT. And I was wrong about the shipping. The Apexi N1 single is $125 to ship (it's one piece), but the dual is two piece, so the shipping doesn't kill you.
