What all will i have to swap on my 91' 240sx to put a 96' KA24DE in?

I know this has been gone over before and i searched all day yesterday and could not find it

I do belive i have to use the S13 dizzy? and maybe the Intake manifold? But im really not sure?

Also what about the S13 transmission will it fit on the S14 KA24DE engine? the S14 engine has the hole on top of transmission for the speed sensor, but the S13 transmission does not have this?

Basically what im doing is putting a 96' engine in a 91' 240sx, along with using the 91' transmission, and using the 91' wiring harnesses.

Any info at all would be awsome!! Thanx guys!!

You could pop the cams out of the old engine and stick them in the new one. They are more agressive. I don't know what else needs to be done if you do that. Search for posts about the intake mani and butterfly valves to learn more. (s13 DOHC=butterfly valves and more agressive cams, s14=no butterfly valves and less agressive cams). Also, the cam profiles in all s13 DOHC's are the same (just in case you come across posts saying differently). A lot of people are confused about that. The Distributor is also different between the two models. The DOHC short block should be identical between the two models, but call a dealership and have them look up the part numbers for both years to see if it's the same. Carfiche.com currently has the '96 s14 FSM up (for now, he rotates what is available. If you paypal a donation...wothwhile...he might put an s13 one up for you), and there is an s13 parts catalog in the microfiche section to help your research.
