s14 engine in a s13, can the MAF still be hacked?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Basically this is question is for a buddy of mine. He has a 96 s14 engine that hes currently building up to put in his s13. He asked me today if he could hack the MAF since he was using the s14 engine. I would assume yes, but i didnt want to give him false answers, so i was just checking on the boards if anyone had any insight on this.

Also, if he has a S-AFC already would it be better to tune that for his fuel management, or the hacked MAF? Perhaps both?

Thanks-Shaun

as long as he's using the s14 maf, yes.

as well as the hacked maf seems to work, i'd sell the safc.
