s14 electrical problem

ok so i took out my stock radio out of my 96 240sx to replace it with a CD deck.. i had to drive to the store to get a harness for the deck and i felt a shock next thing i know all my dash lights go out including my tail lights..anyone have any idea what the problem may be?? iv searched found nothing

your light controls run throught the cd deck harness or at least run near them if you left any wires bare they probably grounded and you shorted a fuse, i cant remember which one it is( i think light control but you should check all your fuses)

cover your wires even for just a short period of time, saves you from alot of bull**** problems

check fuses... it got grounded... if fuses dont work change TCU...



that square white box... go get it at a junk yard... dealership charges 300+ sumthing dollars for that one...

same thing happened to me....after I installed deck....bad wiring..shorted out
