i have a 93 nissan hardbody im swappin my ka24e for a det ka i was wondering if the ecu from a 240 s14 would work in my truck?

swappin a de-t into your truck?

the only problem i could see is being the one plug that comes off the ECU and usually plugs under the dash thats like ignition and stuff so you would be able to crank and get fuel but no sparkk ..i think tahts what that plug controls

splice those wires into the correct wires...the engine harness plugs into the engine

andi think you have one that plugs into hte body as well you might need to find out what each wires function is...and find out what wires on your truck have that fucntion and splice them

the ka is out of a 93 s14 and thanks poshatch for the help il try thst if it dont work il use the s14 harness

a 93 is a S13, S14 started in 1995 and was ODB1. Find out what motor you have exactly. Post pics if you need to.

get an s13 ecu.

ok so i talked to the guy i got the motor from he said it was a 89 s14? but i reseachered and found it has to be a s13... so now i have a ka24de that came out of a 89 s13 idk if it makes a difference. but im thinking about gettin a wiring harness and ecu from a s13 to just put in my truck so i wont have to worry if anything will go worng
