S14 ECU Part # question

Hello all

I have a question about the S14 ECU that is for the Late Model.

S14 ECU's mostly start with a 23710 part number but there is a letter Code on the ECU and after having a couple of phone many say that the Big Number on the ECU is not the part # that I need

well here is my ? What is the part # for the WC ecu for a late model S14 motor ????

if any one can shead some light on this

What are the ECU PART numbers for a "WC" is from a 94-98 S14 Silvia. 5-speed SR20DET VTC

The 23710 is not the part of the number that you need. The 23710 means the type of part. All Nissan ECU's have 23710 stamped on them for the first part of the ten digit serial number. The second part is the one that varies from part to part. So the second part should be something like (examples) 69F00, or 71F00. The important part you would need is the 69 or 71 out of those numbers since that is the chassis specific number.

The last part of the number on ECU signifies that it is an auto or manual transmission. So the F05 could mean manual while F06 could mean auto. But it also varies from car to car.

I dont know the kouki model chassis code. I think 69 is the early model. But 71 is stamped on the S14 turbo so who knows.

BTW, (I lost my 80 gig harddrive last night but) from memory the S14 Zenki ECU is 23710-69F00.

what about the 23710-80F00 what is this one for ????

... jun'96 & up s14 k's with sr20det, automatic, abs; optional boost gauge, television, rear wiper, with or w/o hicas.

so, i guess you will be needing either:-23710-80F00 (5spd) or23710-80F10 (auto) ...

23710-69F00 = early model s14 23710-80F00 = late model s14

Not sure how accurate this info is, its better to just go by the serial numbers
