S14 E-Brake

Hey everyone, my E-brake is kinda broken. It can hold on a hill, but I cant use it to drift or anything. My guess is that the cable is stretched out. My questions:
1. Do I need the whole assembly or just the cable?
2. Where can I get an OEM assembly?
3. I've seen the hydraulic drift brakes on ebay, can those be used for street use? (In other words, if you pull up, can it stay engaged if you take your hand off?)

I hope all of that wasn't too confusing.
