S14 dropping idle when I step on brake..

The car:1995 240sx se94k mileageI just installed a Apexi N1 cat back

I noticed that after the install while driving when I turn on the headlight or press the brakes the idle seems to dip a bit then return to about 700 rpms. I checked my alternator and that is fine however the idle just does that when I brake and turn on the headlights/foglights. I'm kinda stumped. Can you suggest what can be going on?
