s14 Drivers side window won't roll up, new regulator install

I had been having problems with my window recently. It would roll back up a little by itself using a bit of help from me, but gradually got worse. It would fall off track/not hold itself up, meaning the regulator was clearly broken in there. So, I replaced the regulator yesterday, thinking that would solve all of my problems. Well, everything is straight in there and it's on track now, but it still won't roll up. It never seemed like the motor was a problem before, as the window would still roll up somewhat even with a broken regulator. I ran the motor with the window disconnected, and it spins the regulator freely. But, when the window is connected, it won't roll it up. So...Is the motor bad? Or is it the amp? Any suggestions? I just think it's weird, and I feel like I am missing something. Who knows, maybe the motor went bad too....

Sounds like the gearset in the motor is stripped.
