Is it an easy job to take off the door panels on an s14? If so, It would be great to get instructions. I also need a way to get at my back dash speakers. Thanks

it is very easy to do both. for the door panel, theres a few screws going along the bottom that need to be removed, and the trim piece that surrounds the interior door handle needs to come out (one screw, then slide trim through the handle while holding it open). also, the thing that you grasp to close the door needs to come out (one screw and it lifts straight up). if you have power windows, then the control panel needs to be lifted out also. im pretty sure thats all thats holding it in place minus the plastic pins on the back of the panel. once you have the few screws out that need to come out, pull pretty firm on the bottom corner of the panel and work your way up and over until it is free. pull out on the panel and lift up. voila!.for the decklid panel, it comes out fairly easy. fold the back seat down first. all thats holding the cover in place are the same plastic pins that held your door panel on. just lift up on it in the front and work your way around until theyre all free.

thanks, got the panels off. But the reason i was taking them off was to put some new speakers in place of the old ones. But the new speakers have odd shaped drill holes and they dont fit into that yellow speaker housing thing. o well, at least my car kinda looks like race car.

yeah, when i put new speakers in mine i had to drill new holes. i got 6'' speakers instead of 6.5'', but they went in just fine.
