Just thought i'd share some info with you guys...Ok, so you have a DCC but no pigtails? No problem! Just find yourself an Infiniti M30 and yank the plugs that look like these. (M30 was out '90-'92)Pin count is 20 and 16.

It really doesn't matter if the wires are there or not/too short because you can always de-pin your old connecter and re-pin these. (Or just the ones that are missing)

I just got in my DCC in the mail and test fitted the plugs that I picked up from the junkyard about 3 weeks ago and they are a perfect match.

I'm sure there are other cars that have the same plugs out there so let's use this thread to identify them

If you're planing to use this wright up to install the dcc, good luck getting it to work correctly. I helped a guy out last year that used that write up to install it and we could never get it to work corectly even though everything was connected according to the write up.

The best way to install the s14 dcc is to get a whole silvia dash harness and cut off everything not related to the dcc. Then just put power in the right places(its all in the fsm) on the harnesss and plug everything in and repin the mix door motor plug. This is the method I used to install mine and it works perfectly.

That is a good write up. I don't think I've seen this part installed in s13 DCC swap write ups.

I have seen that write up and did find a couple of mistakes with it as I double checked all the wiring with the USDM and JDM FSM. I submitted the corrections to the thread on zilvia that discusses the write up, but have yet to hear anything from the person who created the write up. Feel free to check it out.

That's the ambient temp sensor. I pulled mine off a '95 J30

The s13 part looks different, it is a little square box. I have one some where that I'll take a pic of and post, and they can be foung in early 90's maximas.

I have an original part from JDM s13. I just don't know where to hook it up.

It mounts under the hood latch on the verticle support bar in front of the radiator, and the sensor hooks in on the small white 7 pin plug on the dcc sub harness, the colors are ,if memory serves, light green wire with a yellow stripe and a solid light green wire.

So how the hell do I depin this I've been trying the jewelers method but no luck

The picture above and below is of a "practice plug"

These are the real ones (practice one is the same style plug but smaller)

I'm trying to make this a clean install and I would like to keep the solder/heatshrink to a minimum. I know, no one will be able to see it, bu I would know that it's there

Well, I managed to depin them. I had to destroy my "practice" plug in order to find out how the wire was being held in there. Once I figured it out it was so EASY to take them out. It almost takes NO effort at ALL. And I used my jewelers flat head.

The destroyed plug. Notice how you have to lift up on a tab and just yank the wire out. (small yellow arrow is pointing at the tab)

Don't forget to lift up the "cover" or else the wire will not slide out.

And all of them are out!

Aren't these the same ones that the ECU plug uses?
