S14 DCC Help w/ Code 34 & 35

I just installed the s14 dcc on my car and have worked through all the error codes except 34 &35. I know these are defrost and foot/defrost. When doing the test it switches through fine. The flap will close and the defrost flap will open and close just fine, but when leaving diagnostics and switching to defrost the defrost vent will open half way and then I can't switch to any other modes unless I give it a little nudge. I know the first thought is that the motor is going out, but when in diag. mode it works perfectly. I believe if I can get it to open fully the codes will clear.

As for wiring, I followed the Chuonthis guide along with some additions from the Zilvia thread which included switching around wires 1&2 and 5&6. Before switching those I got pretty much every error. I also added the two wires to the intake door motor for the 20% fresh and recirc settings so I deviated from the guide there as well. Any help is greatly appreciated as I'd love to get my dash back in.

Lastly, If I have the fan speed on full it won't change modes unless I got back to a lower setting. On speeds 1-3 it's fine, just not on full. Not a big deal, just weird.
