Hi everybody,I have done a search for this but came up with nothing. I have also tried on SXOC and no-one has any experience of doing it. Can anyone tell me if the S14 dash will go into my S13 ( both UK 200SXs )? I have just bought a complete leather interior out of a '96 S14 and tried the door cards which don't fit - so I need to fit the dash as well! I don't want to shell out for the dash if it won't fit but I need to know soon as the breaker won't keep it for me.:help

Are you serious? They're two different cars. Will a 300ZX dash fit? Maxima? Civic? Mack truck? NO.

Ummm do a better search, I just asked this a few days ago. Yes, it does fit, but you will need the S14 door panels and some modification.

I really hate to open up a very old thread, but i was about to post the very same question and would rather just liven up an old one.

It's 1am here and I'm on such a sugar rush I can't sleep... So I'm throwing out crazy ideas that are probably... Well, crazy.

An idea popped into my head while i was laying in bed trying to sleep, about putting an S14 interior into my S13. I like the dash better, and really everything else about it. I'm not ready to give up on my S13 and get an S14 quite yet, but wonder if maybe i could have a half-breed.

Anybody know how possible it is? Please don't flame me for just trying to get an idea figured out. Anybody know the dimensions and what all would fit or not fit?

**** man, i drive an s14, and i like the s13 interior better. the only thing i dont like about the s13 interior is its grey instead of charcoal black like the s14. but that can be solved with some interior vynil dye.

What are the interior dimensions differences do u know steph?

I guess when you have one, you always want what the other has(i.e. s13 to s14 and vice versa)

there really isn't much point in doing that, for all the trouble. most likely, you will wind up with panels that vibrate and buzz with you stereo or engine on. Or you will be forced with parts that you have hacked up and modified and cant turn back even if you want to. The you'll probably have to glue some stuff together permanently. this is all from my experience, and I am apretty diligent craftsman when it comes to this sort of thing. i say, love your interior's overall design, and work within its parameters to your liking. heck, I think it'd be WAY cooler, original, and to you liking to fabricate your own custom door panels and dash from scratch, and then maybe incorporate a few s14 parts into it. then you could place controls, gauges etc. wherever you want and still get the exactl look you want. Use carbon fiber, masonite, sheet metal, plywood, moldable plastic sculpting compound (the kind you bake hard), any vinyl or fabric you want, and you can make anything you want. The finished product cold be way cooler than an S14 dash and door panels.

not sure on the interior dimensions, i think the s13 has about the same leg room, etc, as the s14 though. ive sat in both, and both are cramped for me. i like the s13 interior better because of the dash, the way it slides down to the center consol so smoothly, unlike the s14 dash. the s13 interior would be really nice if it was black, and didnt have cheap 'grandmas chair' fabric in it. the interior fabric in the s13 is horrifying. you cant beat an s13 interior with dyed black vynil and some nice recaro srd seats with the door inserts matching the seats. thats my dream interior right there. ;) well... with some greddy gauges, good electronics, momo shift knob/steering wheel/e-brake, etc. but now im getting overboard. ;)

that's not over board at all, that's a functional, fun,and comfortable ****pit. that's just how my interior is beginning to be.

well... in that case. how about some defi gauges and bride seats with matching inserts. :) oh oh oh, and pull the dash panels to have them wrapped in CF, not that cheap overlay sticker crap, the real deal! YEAH! oh oh oh, and... ****, I cant think of anything else right now.

I guess I am kind of a ****pit gauge and electronics freak. I have a S14 silvia gauge cluster, Greddy Warning/peak hold gauge, Defi 4.5" Tach and am going to be adding link gauges as I need them. Also a Blitz Bual CBC, and FATT. The FATT fits nicely in the dash. check out my sig. to see pics.

lol, it censors the partial word **** in ****PIT. It my armpit is under my arm, then my ****pit must under my ****, haha. Who makes these decisions? Some ultra conservative Catholic?
