So, I installed an aftermarket wheel with a quick release into my 98 s14 with this diagram.

http://importnut.net/steeringswap.htm

Im trying to follow the instructions at the end to keep my cruise control, and I do not have this big spool of wire in this picture. I dont know If I did something wrong or what?

http://importnut.net/240pics/steering/c ... ness03.JPG

And when I look under the steering column I found a sensor plug with a green/yellow wire and 2 green/black wires, but not the green/orange, green/yellow, green/white. Am I not looking in the right area? Also I have all of the stock cruise control pieces that were plugged together inside the stock steering wheel, Is there anyway I can just plug is all back up and move the stock cruise switch on the steering column?

Sorry if I sound like a noob and this has been asked before. I did search and found some info, but not the info I need.

If all the stock stuff is there, just move it to the dash/sterring column somewhere.

Another question, I found A LOT more threads/doings of this on s13. I have found the green/orange, green/white, green/yellow wires in my car, I wonder if I could use the s13 switch in my s14.

Maybe, but would think the S14 switch is easier.

Possibly. But ive tried all the ways possible to get the s14 switch to work. I found the same wires on my s14 that they use in the s13 wire up, and it'd be easier to place somewhere. Hell, I really just need set, I dont need the accel and all'a that.

Of course, I just found this, could I just splice into the g/y wire and put it on a simple button from Radio Shack or something and have a set button? Maybe also one into g/o to have accel/resume, or would that just be to easy?

Yes it is possible to just get a button to just set it. PM/email Frankie (fos240) that's how he has his set up I believe.

But everything else would have to be working (all cruise pieces and switches on brake pedal).
