S14 Conversions

I think it's so gay that when you do a search for an "S14 Conversion" all you get are for Integra's and Civic's :rolleyesWhy cant I find one for a 95-98 240sx dammit!!! I know the Type R conversions run about $3000. Whats the price on a 240sx to S14 front end conversion?

Hmmm now that I think of it... Is there a 240sx to S14 tail light conversion as well?

Depends on what year 240 you have. An s14 can be changed to a m/c s14(97-98) with just new fenders, bumper, hood and headlights. I believe it all bolts on. As well as the tail lights. Now for an s13 to m/c s14 all the parts are going to have to be made to fit$$$$$$$

Actually I was speaking of the 95-98 240sx/S14 front end conversion. Where shall one buy these oh so elusive JDM fenders, hood, bumpers, lights, rad support? (without being raped of course) Thanx.

Ummmm ...... the 95-98 240sx IS the s14! If you are refering to the s14 silvia conversions... they are everywhere, just got to look around. Daunttless will be importing them soon I believe.. ask him....

i want the european headlight assemby's. they are projectors of some sort i think, and they ain't that gay plastic, they are glass:D or so i've heard

The only thing different is they use glass headlights. Other than that the USDM S14 is the JDM S14.... and not all of the JDM ones are glass anyways....You'd convert to...the same front end you have now. : )

Ummm No. My wires are just fine. When I say S14 I mean a JDM S14 Silvia. When I say 240sx i mean a USDM 95-98 240sx. Im not interested in the 89-94 240sx so I wont be talkin about or referring to them. Sorry if that confused anyone.

Wholesale Hyperformance sells the crappiest kits I know two guys that bought cheap fiberglass copies of kits and it took WEEKS for them to have it fit right on their car. I guess I will keep searching for JDM or good quality copies of the "S14 Silvia" conversion.

same exact car 95-96 silvia had the round headlight as did the 240sx. In 97-98 they both change to the squarer light but the same exact car except for engine and i think maybe a little variation in the turn signals.

Okay people, there are 2 names that you all should hopefully know that distinguish the different S14 body styles from each other:KOUKI = 97-98 S14's (have the pointier headlights)ZENKI = 95-96 S14's (have the more rounded headlights)I know you all know this (except JDM240sx obviously) but I'd thought I'd throw out the exact Japanese word to distinguish the two.

And Daunttless is correct as he always is! JDM240sx what the hell are you talking about? The USDM S14's are exactly the same as the JDM S14's when it comes to bodystyles! The only thing you can buy to convert your S14 to a complete JDM S14 is the engine and badges.

I must apologize then.... I thought the 97-98 USDM 240sx's had the roundish headlights as well. I didnt know both markets switched to square ones. I gotta go find pics of those two cars and compare. OK forget this whole thread LOL this stuff is confusing!!!

Damn this thread lied dead for seven years! Amtk, the original question from 2002 got answered, new question by el_patron is about STANZA conversion, which i have never heard of. No offense, but i would sell the stanza and just buy an s14. And dont strawberry face(s15) it that shyt is gettin old. IMO
