S14 conversion...

I am about to purchase a 200sx s14 instead of my Audi...

the problem is, that there are only 10 200sx's in israel.3 manuals, and 7 auto's...

The one that i am about to buy, is an auto, cause the manuals are'nt for sale for any price.

My question is, How can i convert it into a manual one?, and how much time will it take?, I also thought of the possibility toput a RB31DET in it, Is it possible?

The conversions not that bad if you have the parts. If you have the money to have the parts shipped in then I'd say go for it. There are plenty of people that have done the swap and they have made web sites, just search the this site. Also I have never herd of a rb31det, but if you can get it and know how to rewire the harness then yes it will work as long as its not too big for the engine bay.

the rb31(if there is one-i never heard of it, only the 23 and 30)would still have the same block as any other RB.

and as for a manual conversion.i bet you could get a gang of parts from europe or even the us at the cost of shipping. shoot, even austrailia has tons of parts.
