I have a 95 S14 and want to start upgrading suspension parts. I am looking for suggestions based on experience and/or opinion.
First the plans are to make it into a KA-T, maybe even an SR down the road. The car will be a daily driver but will also like to start drifting with her. I do have 2 other cars that I can alternate as the DD so I am willing to deal with a stiffer suspension on the road so when I am pushing her the performance and handling will be there.
The budget for the product can go up to $2,000 if it comes to it.
I am currently looking at the following setups:
TEIN - Super Drift (Drift Spec, Sideway Master)
Tanabe Sustec Pro Seven
Cusco Zero-2E
Notice these all have some form of "in car control" adjustments. While this is a cool feature to have and I would prefer to have it, it is not an absolute requirement.
Reading through some of the other coilover topics I know Megen coilover's seem like a popular choice within a certain budget. Do the setups listed above offer comparable or better performance than the Megen's for the extra money.
Looking forward to your experience, suggestions, and comments..!
