s14 climate control relocate

I was looking at this picture which I found on another thread in this forum. I was curious if someone could tell me what car this climate control came from. I'm wanting to relocate the controls and this is the cleanest I've seen it done. It isn't the USDM version because the trim didn't need to be modified to fit controls which are wider than the cd player, and of course the JDM version is the DCC. From the searching I've done online it looks a lot like the maxima climate control unit but I can't find if the parts are interchangable.

looks just like an altima. i can tell from the fan speed, it has a white ring around it.

also i remember they are a different size, but i dont remember if they are smaller or larger. let us know what you find.

So far just from researching pictures using ebay as reference....

93-97 altima climate control - the a/c button is different and it has vent holes under the defrost button

99 altima the rear has extra parts and an extra plug, and the cold - hot slider piece is too small

96 maxima looks dead on with the picture and the plugs in the rear are the same size and location. Only thing is that the face is too wide, but a dremel can fix that


Like I said, that's just reviewing the pictures. I don't really know anyone with any of these car's so I can't actually test what works

Yea Im pretty sure I remember that guy posting that pic saying it was out of a maxima
