S14 Climate Control Conversion

I've been wanting to replace my 98 US-spec A/C system with the JDM climate control system, but I don't know how complicated the conversion is. There have been some sellers on eBay that claim it is simply a plug-and-play swap, but I would think converting a standard A/C system to a climate control system would be more complicated than just simply swapping the units. Has anyone done this or have experience working with A/C systems?

The US s14 climate control system already has all the required mode/heater motor doors that is needed for the conversion. To convert to the JDM controls you just need the cut harness and know where to splice it into the US harness.

I'm curious. I'm doing the S13 dig climate control.. How hard would it be to use the S13 controls.. I like them better

Talk to S-14 Boy here as he has finished it and posted about it... Search and you should find it easilly.

It involved getting and wiring up various parts from an m30 and maxima on his behalf / install... IIRC from what he told me from when he showed me it.

Russ, rn240 has also done it IIRC...

errr. I meant to say could I use the S14 controls. I got the S13 part under control..
