I can't find any info on this when I searched or I was doing it wrong who knows.I was wanting to know if keeping A/C was as easy as just unbolting the compressor from the KA and then bolting it up to the CA18DET. I know my friend had to get lines welded or something to get his SR20DET swap to be able to work with his A/C.

Can someone just point me to or let me know.

Also to make this a double bang for my money, anyone have a good write up on a S13 Redtop into a S14.... or even a S14 CA18DET swap write up.

I'll be able to figure it out as I go but I prefer to have educated my self before hand.

IIRC 3 of the bolts line up with the CA A/C compressor bracket. Then you just have to do wiring. IDK why ppl just don't build a custom bracket to hold a KA pump to the CA motor. I'd think it'd be easier than purging the A/C system, pulling the lines, getting the new ends welded on, putting the pump back together, and refilling the system.

Well, Well, from looking there are a few people out there that make shims/brackets to bolt the compressor to the bracket. I could possible make my own. Get some mild steel take the measurements then take it to machine shop to have the holes machined, but then I don't own any kind of cutting tools other than a Die Grinder LOL.

You have any info on the wiring?

No, I don't. I did a standalone, and I don't have the wiring for my A/C done yet.
