Hey guys...after totalling my s14, I'm having a hard time finding an s13 to put a CA in (surprise surprise). Anywho...how hard would it be to drop the CA into an s14 chassis? Considering both housed the KA wouldn't the engine mounts line up and all? My guess would be that the only problems would be getting a custom down pipe and possibly the placement of the shifter. Who knows? Anyone wanta set me straight?

Thanks,Cliff

it is no different than installing it into an S13 (just a few minor wireing differences)

I was wondering the same thing, b/c it seems like a weight and cost efficient swap. Im playing with the idea of a vq45 swap, but this seems more realistic. the CA is an RB minus 2 cylenders, right?

They're similar but I wouldn't say its a RB minus 2 cylinders...

So, Daunttless, would you be willing to swap a CA into a S14?

Thanks,Cliff

I know of some guys out here in atl that do the swap, but theve never done a CA swap in an s14a, are there major wiring differences? ive already figured out a way around emissions.

its a 1998, OBD II with more wiring than ive ever seen inside the engine bay of a 240 emmissions control and sensors out the wazoo (funny, i dont think ive ever seen "wazoo" in print before)
