I mated a 96 ka24de to my s13 transmission and I've got a bad gap at the bottom, Its not a direct fit as there are I believe 2 holes which dont line up. I noticed this problem when I was first putting them together outside of the car, I tried to fix it but the s14 mounts at the bottom arn't the same

The motor has been in the car for a year ( not driving but running) with no problems, I have drove it and it shifts great. but I worry because im planning on buying the turbo kit very soon and I dont want my transmission to fall off under the additional torque.

Im just trying to see if anybody has had this problem before and knows a way to fix it, (pics soon)

They fit fine, there is a CAS hole in the S14 bell, other then that they are the same. Your using the shim and correct bolts?

In the pictures you can see where the s14 block has the black mounting brackets which dont line up with the transmission. I dont remember the s13 block having that.

I've seen other people say they swapped 96 ka's, so Im sure somebody has figured out how to fix this. Im pretty sure im going to have to drop the transmission again.

I am using a ka24de from a 92 with a trans from a s14 (dunno what year) and they mate perfectly, also my s13 has those brackets on the motor to the trans.
