I recently swapped an S14 Blacktop into my 1995 S14. Problem is that it is running really rich and cuts off at 3000 rpm. I'm sure this is the Mass Air Flow. If it is does anyone have one that they can part with or trade? PIC of the install.

I would agree with nicen id goto checking basics first instead of trying to swap out parts already. I would agree with you that it might be the MAF sensor but I would also check that the connections are wired up right in that harness it might be giving off false readings

I had phase 2 do the wiring harness. Seems to be ok I'll double check, but my ECU threw a number 12 code with is the MAF.

So I replaced my MAF, still coming up with the same problem. Any ideas? Should I take a meter and check the connections? If so what should they read?

I had a similar problem with my KA, but all I had to do is reset the ECU after I replaced the MAF. I have a feeling it has to do with the wiring. I'm going to check that first and reset the ECU. I know that when my KA was in limp mode it was running super rich. Just have to keep trouble shooting.

Dude I'm sure that you MAF was working fine. Turns out the bone heads at phase 2 switched the ground and the power wires, so I'm pretty sure I fried your MAF. I'm going to rewire this thing and try again. I have to say I'm not to happy with phase 2 right now. This is something they should not have gotten wrong. Cost me too much time, but thanks to you not all that much money.

you can actually test the maf to see if it works. take the maf and hook the power wire to power on the battery and the ground to the ground then use a volt meter and hook the black prong on the meter to the ground on the battery, hook the red prong on the meter to the signal wire on the maf and blow through the maf. you will see the volts on the meter go up the harder you blow into the maf... that will tell you if it's good or not.

Turns out the guys at phase 2 wired up the MAF wrong. Once I figured out that the ground and power were switched it ran just fine. I'm not to happy with those guys. They have been avoiding me all week.
