s14 blacktop into s13 problem?

hi, currently my friend and i are in the process of swapping a s14 blacktop into a s13. Everything is connected, wires, mounted, etc and the car starts but the ecu doesn't light up or isn't reading correctly. It runs slightly rough but does not show n e signals on the ecu. Anyone know what it might be? thanks for ur help..

b0i: Which ECU are you using? IIRC, you must use the S13 ECU and harness when transplanting an S14 engine.

Can anyone verify this?-Jamie
