I recently bought a set of s14 front belts, but the driver's side has flipped over so that the buckel faces the door instead of the seat. I dont know how it got there, but I remember pulling the belts out in the correct direction (both buckles facing the seats). I tried to flip the buckles over, but the tight clearances wont allow the belt to fold over. Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?

you can still use the s13 female side buckle on s14 seat belts. other than that, you can just force the seat belt in, it sould still be able to sit in there ok.s13 seat belt buckles are the same as s14

I can make the buckle work, its just that the belt itself will have a twist/kink just to buckle it the right way. I can't seem to figure out how it happened, but when I pulled the belts off, they were both facing the correct way. Now the other belt buckle (not the latch) is facing towards the door instead of the seat.

i kno exactly what he means. ok when your in the car the belt for the buckle has a twist in it. like it does not sit flat on you it twists in the middle. you jus have to force it and it will go back happened to me plenty of times.

Fold the belt in a 90 degree angle and press it as FLAT as possible. Slide the buckle over the fold. If yoyu do it correctly the buckle will face the correct way. I just did mine:

I'm not totally positive. But did you buy S14 belts to replace your S13 ones? Or did you not have S13 ones?

Because I'm positive S13 belts are under lifetime warranty from Nissan.

I used s14 belts. I was sick of the power belts. I like to have manual belts so I can yank on the shoulder belt to tighten the lap restraint. I actually ended up using the belt the way it is. It turns out its fit is pretty good. I still have to twist it, but once its on and you straighten it out, the fit is pretty good. Thanks guys!

PS - I'll try the 90 degree fold over. If it works, then I'll probably keep it the right way.
