im relocating my battery to the trunk for better weight transfer, to free up some space for my rb25 intercooler piping, and because the battery tray is rusted as $h1t.

i have all the cables and parts but i have a quick question. i know some people run the cable underneath the car and then up to the trunk but i wanna keep the wire inside. just wondering where you guys ran the cable through the firewall (drill new hole, use some other spot)

thanks

Drilling holes is much easier but if you plan to sell your car at Barret Jackson as ALL ORIGINAL you must go through existing wire grommets.

Would the cables fit though the Engine Control Module harness hole in the firewall?

A relocation kit will also be difficult because the negative battery cable must be as short as possible and as close to the fuse box as possible. Because of the least resistance and the wire going to the battery is unprotected unless you re-route the fuse box as well, Respectively.

well heres what i got

moroso battery box
inline fuse for the positive cable (so my car doesnt burn down)
distribution block to connect all the cables in the engine bay

my ground is going to be right in the trunk and that shouldnt be a problem. im gonna try to fit it through the original hole. im probably just gonna have to cut a small hole in the grommet to run the + through
