I was wondering if it matters if I remove the ground that connected the intake manifold to the battery? or should I ground the intake manifold to the body of the car now?

Couldn't find the answer to that one from searching. sry

Run it from the mani to the chassis in some manner. If you don't, you will kill your battery. I did not replace that ground when I first moved my battery. Killed a nearly brand new stock replacement battery in about 2 miles. 'Twas no fun pushing it home...

That makes no sense, but some components might be picking a ground up on there so its good to have that jumper

I have only had my battery grounded to my car through (1) cable in the trunk, Never had a problem in 4 years.

Let me re-phrase this a little. I already have everything hooked up in the trunk and all is well. Relocation finished.

But there is a ground wire that ran from the intake manifold, to the battery (no longer there), and then to some other wires by the radiator. I'm wondering if I can remove that wire all together to try and clean things up a bit. I will take some pictures and post them up in a little while, but right now I'm out the door. Let me know what you guys think.

There is 2 wires grounded below the battery tray. One goes to the intake manifold and one tho the - terminal. I ripped them out and havent ever had a problem. So yes, I would tear them out.

Well, I had the issue. I killed my battery, I then recharged it, added the ground and never had an issue again.

Besides, for the most efficency of the charging and ignition systems, you want as many grounds as possible. But you do as you please.

I welded a bolt to the floor pan for my battery ground. Under the hood I welded another bolt to my strut tower and grounded the manifold ground to that. Worked like a charm man.
