I was just wondering, I definetly need new ball joints all the way around, is the pdm front ball joing assm. with whitelive bushings worth it?

Should I replace the supsension bushings with oem bushings or energy suspension, or anything else better out there? Also I am trying to stiffen up my front supsension, want other components would be good? I have extensive car knowledge, but i'm a little sketchy on supension....

Lastly I am really of thinking of going with SPL/KTS coilovers, with the swift spring package to make them shorter and THE SWIFT SPRINGS!!!

Also I was looking at adjustable lower control arms front and rear, just so everyone knows Battle Version ones are fake, I emailed the company and they said they weren't really made by them, but come Indonisian company. But Idk about Megan's or SPL's adjustable ones, I mean you eliminate ball joint bushing don't ya?

dude,

get a ES Bushing "KIT" And Replace EVERY Bushing on the car,

Them get SPL Susp Arms (Will Run You About 1K$)

Then Get Z32 Brakes (30mm) Not the crapy 26mm ones

About ball joints search here some dude replace them with generic ball joints and they work fine

and Lower contrl arms.....you don't need them...unless the car is 150% Track car Or A 100% Dr"a"ft car....And Still you don't need them...

hope this help,

Ali

adjustable lower control arms are mainly for roll center adjustment, which I'm sure you don't need if your car is a daily driver. The only other reason to get those would be to upgrade to spherical bearings, which are a lot better, but the cost isn't really justified in your case.

the suspension arms (pillowball joints) will replace all the bushings on the oe arms... so its kind of a waste if you get the ES bushing kit. Same goes with the sway bar endlinks and D bushings... if you upgrade sway bars, they usually include their own bushings.

if you do go with full spl arms, you'll probably only want to get subframe, steering rack, and lca bushings (unless you go with spl lca... which would cost a pretty penny btw).

Thanks guys this really helps me out.

Now I just need ideas, save up for SPL coils, Stance, or just get some Megan's?

well, SPL doesn't make their own coilovers. They sell KTS... and from all the reviews I've heard, they're really nice and beefy, not to mention they're inverted monotube for around $1000. My cousin has them on his s14... they're lovely. Stance's are great too. For about the same price as KTS', Stance's come with 2 different sets of springs.

I wouldn't classify megans anywhere near KTS and Stance. I mean, they're okay for their price... I guess. But I'd rather choose between KTS and Stance than Megan.

Yeah I know that, but the reason I brought up Megan's was cause this is gonna be my DD and I don't have a ton of money, so Megan's are gonna be my last option...

well if you're in no hurry, I say its worth the save. I mean, the marginal difference is only like $200-300. You don't want to get megans, then a couple years later kick yourself in the asss by saying, "damn i could have gotten _______ for like $300 more"

I had megan's before, and I wasn't too happy with the ride. It was really bouncy and not damped properly. I am much happier w/ my koni/gc setup.
