Just look around. The price for these things is gonna be WAY different depending on where you are in the country. I saw a stock one going for barely 2k and in good shape. Keep in mind this was in North Dakota.

Seriously take a few minutes and search the classifieds.

95-96 SEs tend to sell for 4-6.5K pending condition and non SEs sell for about a 1K less.

rofl...

average price? in my opinion, probably what 574 said... $4-6.5K. Assuming you don't want a salvage title or any type of huge fix project.

For zenki's? I regularly see SE's for sub 4k and damn sure wouldn't pay 6k+ for one.

Edit: Hahaha, I just went looking around at some for sale while some have the normal price, almost half are asking like what you put up. That's a *ridiculous* and unbased markup. Anything over 4k for a stock, good condition zenki S14 is simply a ripoff.

Deals can be found I picked my first S14 base 5-speed for 2200. Its just a matter of searching. Before everyone starts with their ultra low purchase price stories. I would plan on spending 4500-5000 for a good condition 100K S14SE.

Scott, you know my hawt car was $5500, 114K, 5 speed, very mint along with yellow headlights!, about the average asking price, but neway, you better start looking, took me about 6 months.

Then we will both have nice cars

Don't forget the good old fashioned local newspaper! Especially if you live in a large metropolitan area. It's how I found mine. `92 for ~$3000 after TTL.

Abit high, but I had to take it, it had ALL the options I wanted. 5 speed, no wing, no power windows, no power locks. Would have preferred a coupe, but a hatch is definitely nice. Also would have preferred non-red, but that's nitpicking. Here is the reason:

My family's car history (everyone in immediate family)'83 Accord Red'91 Civic Red'95 Villager Red (broke down!)'97 CRV Blue (a break!)'00 Accord Silver (non red continues)'03 Matrix Red (and we go back!)'92 240SX Red

We just gravitate torwards red for some reason.
