Hey guys I know this has been discussed b-4 because I vaguely remember it but I couldent find what I was lookign for when I searched. Anyway im thinking of selling my 92 240 hatch for a newer 240. I was wondering if anyone would know how hard it would be to drop a rb25 or rb26 into a 95-98 240 that is originally an auto and convert it to a manual. Would the swap be much harder with the auto/manual conversion or about the same difficulty? Will the shifter have any clearance issues on the auto? Any difference between the 95/96 and 97/98 auto 240s? Thanks

so your swapping a rb25 manual into a s14 auto?

im doing this right now. its pretty easy. just need pedals and the clutch lines. you can actually use the rb clips master clutch cylinder.

i also used the clips clutch pedal (too long but fits). the clips brake pedal doesnt fit. and when i cut the s14s auto brake pedal, it is off centered. so it'll work, but looks goofy.

dont think theres any difference between 95s and 97s.

the bodies are the same (auto & manual). after you take the auto stick out you'll see a whole for the stick shift.
