to install a KA alternator you have two bolts that go to the mount. The swivel/pivot bolt and the tension pulley bolt(at the top) You will need to drill the threads out in order for the bolt from the SR tension pulley to fit through the hole on the KA alternator. When you have them side by side you will be able to see what I am talking about. It is really easy because you are only doing it to remove the threads in that hole on the alternator There are are no other thread holes used to mount the alternator so you should not get confused on this.
BTW, I have an s14SR and used an s13 KA pulley. You may not have to drill out the hole on the one you are using
