I just picked up an oldschool Recaro SRD confetti seat(le mans edition i think?) from Elite JDM in ne philly..good people. Now i need to get some rails to put this b**** in. What exactly do i look for? Will any aftermarket rails fit if they were made for my car? Do i need to contact Recaro directly? Thanks in advance.

Do not get bottom mount rails. They will sit crazy high and you definitely will not like it, your head will probably hit the roof.

As for seat rails, Sonic Motor has decent prices.

What i don't understand is the bolt pattern on all these "aftermarket" seat brackets. Would i need to do any fabbing?

For instance, if i bought any aftermarket seat bracket that says it applicable with a 1995 240sx..will it definately fit my recaro?

There's a difference between brackets and rails.

Brackets are the part that attach the seat to the car.

Rails are the sliding part that attach to the seat.

If you just have the seat with nothing under it, then you will need brackets and rails.

Okay, is it a bottom mount or side mount seat?
