Can somebody do me a big favor and help me out on how to take off the s14 center ac trim without breaking any part of it? I know it is a very fragile piece after 10+ years.

I have searched and people said it just pops off, but when I try...it is very hard and if I put any more pressure I feel it will break. I already broke the top tab to hold it in, so any help would be appreciated. Pics would be nice too.

PULL Ac vent (top) first, then PULL shifter section (bottom), then UNSCREW the center one if i remember right. Be careful, I cracked mine only to find out this was the right way. Edit: Forgot to add that after you unscrew the middle metal piece slide out the metal AC and radio bracket with the plastic piece attached. The plastic piece screws off of from behind.

That made no sense....

I guess I'll try in anyway.
