s14 ac system the exact same as a s13 ac system?

I have a s14 that didn't come with a ac at all. The ac wasn't pulled, its just the cheap model lol. Now here's my question.....


Can I use the complete ac system from a s13?

Second and final question.....
What are all the parts I'm gonna need? I know ill need;
all hard lines, condensor filter, compressor bracket for compressor blower control unit. Is there anything else I'm gonna need? Can I use my writing harness or do I need another one? What about the dash harness?

Any information on this would be great.....

the condenser and compressor should be fine to use, the only problems i can see with the rest of the system is the dimensions of the ac unit that has to fit under the dash between the heater and intake units, and the length of the hard lines. i do know that the s14 lines wont fit a s13 compressor and vice versa, so you have to use one whole system or another.

The compressor is different between the 2 cars and i do believe everything else. I just went to the scrap yard and found some s13's and the actual lines going back to the blower are a lot bigger than the s14 lines. You also have to watch out for R12 and R134 parts also. So best bet would to be to source everything from a s14.
