hey guys, i just got done swapping my s13 built ka-t over to my s14 last night, it starts up everything is good but i am having a problem with the A/C system

i'll turn the air on inside the car and i'll hear the a/c clutch engaging it starts blowing cold air and then after about 10 seconds air gets hot and i've narrowed it down to the a/c clutch disengaging. i turn the a/c button off and then back on and it wont re-engage until i turn the car off or about 5-10 mins. (it worked perfectly fine before the swap)

when i swapped the motor over i noticed there was a little valve connected to the heater hose (my s13 didnt have it) what does that do? because i didnt hook this up.

my car also does not have the iacv hooked up or the a/c fan. would any of these cause my symptoms?

thanks guys.

Your ac fan won't have nething to do with it. I removed mine over a year ago. Is the compressor still running when it quits blowing cold air?

yeah the compressor is still running but the clutch dis-engages

i looked at the schematic and it looks like it might have something to do with the iacv. i will hook the electrical part up tomorrow and see if it fixes the problem
