s14 5 speed swap question, opinion

i need some opinion on auto to manual swap wiring.i've searched on the swap wiring and some people don't wire the neutral position and 5th position switch. do i reallyneed it. is there a drawback? on my swap i'm using a 5 speed ecu.i have a 95 240. i need some opinion on this. thanks

5th position switch I THINK is your odometer. That's up to you if you want to use it or not. Neutral position switch is what prevents you from starting the car while in gear. Just make sure you either have the clutch in while starting or your in neutral :-)
