s14 4-speaker to 6 speaker system whats the diffence?

Hey.. I found out that 95-98 240sx came with four speaker and 6 speaker system.. I'm parting out a 6 speaker system car. I have the four speaker system.. There is a clarion amplifier ( Ithink) on the trunk that didnt come in my 240.. What are the things I need to pull out of this 6-speaker car to put on mine? Thanks for the help

The 6speaker sounds really nice when the speakers arent blown and the amp is actually still powering all 6 speakers. It has a tendancy to mess up and not power the door panel speakers and the tweeters, which then it sounds like crap.

The tweeters are very nice though.

it's not worth the trouble... you need to do a lot of wriing to make it work... but if you are gung ho about it here's what you need... the amp with both of the wiring harness things and the cd player with it's wiring harness things... you should just clip them at the ends with enough to solder more wires on there and enough to see the wire color and such so you can match the wires up... it shouldn't be too hard but man for the time and effort i would definitely go for some type of better upgrade. there are head units out there with much better amplifiers built in... less hastle, better sound and tuning capabilities and no crazt wiring jobs. trust me on this... it is much more worth the effort.

2 door speakers, 2 back seat peakers, and 2 tweeters. Where would the other 2 speakers go?

do the tweeters count as speakers?

cause my car has tweeters front 2 in doors and 2 in the back (right now theres just an empty connector there i need to get 2 new ones .. )

so im wondering if i have the 6 speaker system or 4 spkr onemax
