well i know there has been a few people that have done the conversion. but i found an easy way to do it. i was cruisin the local junk yard and came across a 99 or so Cadillac Escalade. i saw the 3rd brake light was about the same length and also factory LED. so i grabbed it. brought it home. and took it apart. on each end there is two tabs that you have to break off and then you pop apart your housing and it fits right in there. i hot glued mine to stay. you can do something creative lol. and then solder in the wires and boom your done. yellow wire is + and black is -

pretty damn easy and looks ballin. i will get pics later maybe tonight or tomorrow. dont have anything other than my phone so quality wont be too good.

just thought i would share the useful info

Yup, led's are a breeze to do. Hardest part is soldering.
