would it really make a difference? its not like theres a valve in the side that lets it go one way only. oh wait it looks like you do have one? is it a valve?

That valve is there to let coolant into the heatercore. The way he has it hooked up will allow it out of the heater core. I'm not sure why nissan engineers put that there, mine started to leak so I just bypassed it and have had no problems. It really shouldn't matter how it's hooked up. I know mines the other way and my heat works.
