Hey, I recently bought a 1995 240sx and the CEL popped on last night. So I pulled the codes and got:

Code 12: MAF Sensor
Code 34: Knock Sensor
Code 105: EGRC Solenoid

I did a tune up just recently on it, spark plugs, wires, distrib cap and rotor, fuel filter, oil change, the little things.. I checked the air filter box and found it had a K/N filter that was totally clogged up. So i cleaned it up and also cleaned the MAF sensor just because. I then reset the codes and went to school the next day. Then again it came on, on my way home from school. Now the car is not running bad or anything just feels like its eating a little more gas then usual I find (could just be me though)

I've seen what happens when a car has a bad MAF sensor but my car literally runs as if nothing was wrong, yet the CEL pops on for the 3 codes.

Just would like some input from others seeing if anyone else has had this problem. I've been searching on all 240 forums but I just cant find anything with the same issues I'm having or just cant search properly lol.

Thanks!

One thing you can check is if some of the oil from the filter got on the MAF sensor. This has happened to me before. Get a can of CRC MAF cleaner and go to town. Also, take a couple paper towels and tray to clean up extra oil off of the filter. This is the biggest issue I have with wet reusable filters, lol. On a MAP sensor car it's no problem typically, but it sure does mess with the MAF cars! Clear the codes and see if that does it. Always good to try to simple cheap things first! Ha ha
