s13ka into s14

i recently just purchased a ka from a buddy of mine it came out of his s13 he built it up a little and it comes with a manual trans whihc mine is auto... so im wanting to do the motor swap and the auto to manual conversion. simple in words. Another buddy of mine is telling me make sure the motor is obd2 cause i have a 95 s14. the motor im buying is obd1 and after doing the research my s14 is obd1 as well cause 95 was the split year. the motor im buying comes with everything except the cooling fan which ill buy. that same buddy told me if i do this motor swap i have to change out 20 wires that run from the ecu to the gauges and the sensors id have to switch out, he also says i need a resistor for come of the cluster stuff or the mph and tac will read off. all i want to know is, is this true or is it a simple drop in and install considering i have the ecu and wiring harness from the motor i bought. let me know i could really use the help.

Easiest way is to swap the intake manifold from the S14 to the S13 engine. Also have to use the S14 distributor setup.

And would need to look into drilling a hole into the top of the S13 transmission bell housing to fit the CAS.
