Hey all,

I had a customer come to me saying he wants a S13.4 done. I said no problem, we can order you the fenders, hood, and front bumper for you for the price of x.

Guy responded said no... an S13.4 Sky via.

I've done my research,and I've assisted/ done silvia conversions, s13.2 skyvia's, s13.4 conversions, and one s13.5 conversion.

Okay, First of all:Look. It's not my car. It's not my money. I don't like the conversion, but the shop here in San Jose is going to do the cleanest job we can and make our customers happy.

Second of all: Like I said, I've done conversions and I've done my research

I've found these two pictures, plus the sky via truck from austrailia.

For this conversion, it is as simple as merge fenders and the hood together, plus weld R34 GTR radiator support crossbar.

I just don't think the fenders top where it meets the hood will bolt on flush like the ones in the pictures.

I found a front and rear clip for 2,000$

The customer does not want the GTS-T front like the black image, however, doesn't want a body kit GTR front end. He wants a GT-R BNR34 stock look on the front of his S13 coupe.

the circles are where the screws are. Now, is there a problem when I bolt the R34 Fender to the frame or is the 'gap' just next to the door where the square is.

Also, did you weld the R34 radiator support where the other red marked area is?

Obviously the red front looks better than the black one... how does the hood sit with the front windshield?

Also, is the hoods meshed?

like take the bottom R34 part and mesh it into the s13 hood?_____________________________________

Thanks for saying that, because I swear half the time n00bs post stuff and it's so easily found. Now, I've tried looking for this and through my dedication I came up with 3 cars with those conversions.

And having a user here say they've never heard of the conversion helps my case.

Hahahahaha, I just hate seeing the 1.5 billion threads 'how do I put a s14 front end on my s13'

ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

*Just noticed - You have 14 posts from 2005!*

Lurk much? lol Thanks for posting about the job! Sounds like it's gonna be interesting and sounds like you know what your doing... Can we see pics of your previous conversion jobs?

Oh and did you show those pics to yor customer to confirm thats what he wanted? I mean, we get ppl in here all the time saying they want 'XYZ' and we're all like WTF are they talking about? After probing a little bit, we find out they wanted some really simple chit, but just had their terminology all jacked up... lol

Oh mevermind... just reread the OP. yep, thats what the customer wants...

yeah, I haven't been on nico, 240sxforums, honda-tech, anything. I'm from a small town in indiana and moved to California in 2007... Went to college to study Japanese / Business, now i'm in grad school and I work during the day.

But the thing was I used to work on cars just motors when I grew up and stuff. while in my stay of california I spend my weekends and nights at a body shop started by some of my old fraternity brothers. And now I have money to mod cars and have the experience to help others mod their cars.

Right now, I've got a 1985 Toyota AE86 GTS Hatchback, 2010 Nissan Altima daily driver, and I'm thinking about picking up a truck as I just sold my ford f350. This specific project is for an old friend from a different fraternity. We served on a council together and I'm going to do the labor with my friends for really cheap.

All my other conversions done on two forties we've purchased conversion fenders

Interesting conversion for sure. I guess it's just a way of we Americans to be that much closer to an actual Skyline. Wouldn't want one myself.. but a cool build nonetheless. Keep us updated man! I'm curious to see where this thing goes

As long as I live in a LHD country, I'll stick to LHD cars. Conversions are ghey, IMO... but different strokes for different folks...

Ir'd be easier and mo flush to turn it into a r32s13....and a r33s14.lines meet up in those cars more accurately and it flows better.

That's what I say.. only way I'd go with RHD or any conversion if it were legit and sadly we're screwed in that department mostly lol. Although I did see an S15 for sale on eBay motors, got 30k to drop? haha

Okay, here's the deal. the rear end is an r32 end on his 240 coupe.

He wants a Bee*R 34 GTR (r32.4 skyline ... since the lines of an S13 are SIMILAR (def not the same) ... and he wants the stock bumpers / hood... . He doesn't want a kit, however, can you provide me for the links for the BN kit?! I could steal the fenders from that kit.

BN kit = S13 to r34?!!! Never saw a kit for it and i've only seen three done. I have seen BNR32.4s all day though.

If I were gonna drop $30k on a stock car, I'd take a 370Z over an S15. Hell, I'd even take a 350Z over an S15...

I know this. Call him up and tell him that.

Goodness guys, it's not for me. i don't care what people do to their cars, as long as they pay for the work, my friends will do it.

well, i'm in san jose, the shop is up north. we have two garages.. one in vallejo and one in newark (15 minutes north of sj) owned by the same guy.

it's not mine and it's not 'we'... it's all his. I just hang out. He just totalled shirley but if you saw a 78 corvette that was red with a whole lot of s*** done to it... then you've seen him.
