s13 wont start

I just swapped from a ka to a ka, but im having problems starting the car. When i try to start the car all i hear is a click and also im thinking i have a bad ground or something because my rpms will start going crazy. I tried tapping the starter but no luck.

If anyone one has any ideas or suggestions i would like to hear them.

sounds like your starter is dead or it is not hooked up right.

agree, swap starters from the old engine see if the symptoms change..
also make sure all of your grounds/battery cables are hooked up correctly.
