So I have a 1991 240sx s13 manual hatch. I'm having trouble getting it started and was thinking you guys could help me.
About two weeks ago I was on my home from work and my lower radiator hose popped off while on the freeway. I was maintaining enough speed to keep the engine cool so my temp gauge didn't read until I got to my exit. I started to lose power to the engine, hit the gas pedal all the way down, nothing. I was close to home so I was hoping I could coast but some dude didn't go at a green. I engaged my clutch but as soon as I stopped the car died and hasn't ran since.
I was getting a clicking at first so I went and had my battery tested, bad battery. Replaced that and my spark plugs.
Now the engine just turns over and over not wanting to fire. I've checked my connections and as far as I can tell they're all good. All my fuses are good.
I'm really stumped here guys, please help!

One more thing that might help the diagnosis
When I turn the the key to accessories, all my dash lights come on. When I turn to engage, the check oil light goes out?

What does this mean?

Are you saying you ran your car with no coolant in the engine? The engine temperature gauge is actually a gauge that reads coolant temperature. If there is no coolant, the reading will be low or no existent- it won't read "hot".

There is no way you can keep that engine cool with just air flow.

Did you put coolant back in and pressurize the system to see if there is a head gasket leak? Perhaps a sensor (crank position sensor) fried out due to heat.

Yeaaaah, you might want to do a compression test on that engine.
