I know this has been covered plenty of times on here but I'm stumped. I recently got an 89 240sx with a junk 92 or 93 ka24de swap. I put a newer s14 long block ka in and swapped the engine comoenents over from the old motor which includes the intake Mani, alternator, starter, wiring harness, and the s13 distributor. After the harnesss got connected I turned the key. Click. Just one click. I had the starter tested and it passed. I replaced the ignition switch same problem. Put a brand new battery in and now it clicks repeatedly smoke comes out around the slave cylinder. I think I also heard the fuse box next to the clutch pedel click when turned the key if that means anything. Im seriously stumped guys. Please if you have any idea why it won't turn over.
Also is a s13 wiring harness and distributor compatible with a s14 block? Will any the harness need modified?
