I'm thinking about picking up a set of Work (CR KAI) wheels for my S13. I have 5 lug converted already and have been looking at the 5x114 options, and was wondering what you guys' opinions are about wheel size, wheel width, preferred offset front & rear, and what tires size(s) i should match up to them?

I was thinking ~ 17 inches, and maybe a staggered set.

Something like:17x8 +32 (?) front,17x8.5 +37(?) or +30(?) rear ?

But wasn't sure about the offsets or what size of tires I should use? Looking for recommendations.

Or if you guys thought 8" will be too wide, and I should do 7" and 7.5" ?

Also, I have fully adjustable suspension (spl arms all around) with the exception of front and rear lower control arms. I am also using Stance GR + Pro coilovers, so adjusting for proper fitment shouldn't be a problem, I am looking for suggestions about what would look and work best.

Thanks.

Lolz @ 7"8" or wider with these cars. Fortunately, The wider the wheels the more concave with these wheels too (taking offset into consideration of course)Which apparently is the new hype.

After 5 mins of searching here.

What are you looking for?Max tire or Wheel fitment?

I've seen all of these pictures before and they are what turned me to the works to begin with. The four I left are the ones closest to what I am looking for. Now i know none of them are similar, but if I had to pick a favorite:

I am looking more fore fitment, I don't want to have to roll, tuck, or do anything really aggressive. I just want some clean looking wheels that will fit right.

hahahah, build a real car then i might consider taking things you say seriously. The widest rims I'm available to fit don't mean s*** to me if I can't corner quickly. This is an Auto-X / DD oriented car in which I probably have more $$ tied up in suspension & braking components than you do with your car and motor combined. Not trying to be a d!ck, but I don't need that s*** in this thread.

Thanks again for your help. I think I am going to stick with:FRONT: 17 x 9.0 +17 235 / 40 REAR: 17 x 9.0 +17 245 / 45

and hopefully that will give me my full turning radius.

A good rule of thumb.

Dont run anything more than +18

Width should never be less than 8" Id say 9-10 inches wide is good it does not mean your tires need to be that wide.
