Off topic but I was wondering where you got the wheels, what size they are and what they cost. They look fine to me, dont care much bout looks. I just want a light weight, good size, and good price.

bust on? the guy said he wants to drive screws into his floorpan to hold a sideskirt on. did nissan ever do this? no. any car manufacturer? i hope not. thats just ghetto as hell.

im not here to start stuff, but if someone does a ghetto mod, then will come back here and whine about how their floorpan is rusting out around the rogue screws... and doesnt realize it for a year+ cus they dont ever think of the consequence of poorly planned ideas... then yeah. its like the people who buy ssautochrome manifolds then complain that the welds break. DUH. you do things once, and you do them right. i learned this a long time ago... i wish more people would.

go back to being a "defender" of the newbs... they will praise you endlessly. ill sit here and try to help them avoid idiotic, eventually costly mistakes.

Since ive missed so much. Mrgreeneyes- I respect you because you know what your talking about completely. I flipped out when i saw the response to your comment. I wasn't really trying to jump on you. I have always taken pride in having a clean car its just money is very tight right now so there is NO way i can go type x all the way around. I am just looking for a temporary idea and i thought that was pretty original. The drilling holes through the floor pan was just a thought i had on the way home from work before i posted this. I would seal the hole around the screw and i work at a body shop. I could weld them back up anytime i wanted. I just couldn't think of any other way to do it in the 10 minutes i thought about. Im am not one to do things the GHETTO way. I would never go home and start drilling holes. that's why i made this thread. I wanted other opinions although i got none. So sorry if i went off on you but that comment about young people ruining 240s im still laughing. All of yall were young to 240s at one time so....... Trust me i dont want my car flat black and running like s***. I just cant afford a paint job or anything other than small stuff.

since you are so young, i understand the confusion. but nicoclub's forums are not like picture books. you actually have to read the words. and if you did, you would already have saved yourself looking stoopid.

those steelies are horrible...although it has good fitment and might perform well it has negative points in the looks department. but at least they look 10000x better than regular steelies.

I agree. I still want to know the size of those wheels on the car, and the price. I bet they're light too. Who cares how they look they fit good and are still 4 lug and probably do weigh half as much as some stupid fwd offset rims.

perhaps you should use different lugs than pictured above.

like the stock open ends or something. anything but those.

and a 195 45 15 is WAY smaller than stock.

And you would know that because of???? I don't believe you have ever seen my car or my wheels so GTFO with your bull****. As for Honda HB's they look ghey, they have ghey motors, and the biggest thing against them is...they are a honda (and FWD). The h0m0 racing division One of my best friends has one and it looks ok looking but it's like he says "It's my Geo, it gets good MPG's"

I put my friends s14 kouki side skirts up to my s13 last night and it looked sexy. just a tad bit too long on the back though. oh and they were black like my car so that prolly just added to teh sexyness.

Mrgreeneyes- Glad your not pissed off or anything. Love the car your building BTW

I am thinking about ordering these because the will look and FIT WAY BETTER than my motegi's. I was wondering what backspace to get since they are not in offsets. I would also paint the centers of mine bronze like those^. I cant really decide how good it would look though. but there super cheap so i could always replace them.

Skirts don't look too bad in my opinion, but they def. are not my style. What you could do instead of drilling holes is extend or add on brackets on to the skirts to get them to fit up to the holes that are already under the rocker panels. Wouldn't be too hard.About the wheels... They are not as cheap as everyone might think. I have been getting everything figured out with diamond racing to get my wheels ordered and after talking to them a few times I've realized they are not always as cheap as what people might think. It really all depends on what you want. For instance, in my situation I asked for a 4 lug 16x10" and 16x9". They told me they don't make a 16x9 so they would have to take a 10" and cut it down, which costs an extra $70 or so. Plus, the 4 lug bolt pattern is also custom so to do that it costs an extra $10 per wheel. So for one 16x9" wheel for me ends up costing $214.... I'm not saying they are expensive, don't buy them. They are still the best bang for the buck I've seen, and their customer service is just at great as being able to get whatever kind of wheel you want. It's just something to think about before you get too hype.

funny you mention the price. I just priced to get the one i want- 15x8 4x4.5 with a crome lip and it would come out to around $650 after shipping. So thats a no go anymore. I was thinking of bolting the side skirts to where the front fender attaches and i dont remember what is in the back but i dont know it the middle would start to sag. ???? Ill figure it out one day maybe. I have to find some first though.
