well, i almost finished the wiring, but the problem was that the harness was initially chopped up for an s14 b4 i ever got it, so some parts are really confusing me, but when following the 8 steps just to get this thing running i ran into a little problem. The large plug that you are supposed to run to the starter signal wire didnt look right. for starters the black and white wire in the writeup appears to be black and red, and there is nothing running into its pin on the other side. I looked at the pin diagram and the ignition signal or something pin 45 if i remember right had a thin blue and yellow wire leading out of it that was not connected to any plug(from when the harness was made for the s14) . i took pictures of the plug on both sides, and was hoping someone could tell me where the other side of the pin is supposed to run to, or if im looking at the completely wrong wire.

side with the connector i cut off of the fuse box

side leading back to the ecu

any help would be appreciated.

That is the pic of my connector. I don't know why none of the colors are matching.

The wires on that plug actually looks like step 15: (if that is a y/g wire in your picture)15. Connecting speedometer wires at engine bay: RB lower engine harness Grey plug, take Grey/Red and Yellow/Purple wires. Find KA Grey plug (mine was clipped to the side of the fuse box) which contains Yellow/Lavender and Yellow/Black wires. Connect Y/B to G/R and Y/L to Y/Pu. See picture. The KA wires came from that plug next to my little finger.

The b/w wire is going to the rb starter. It connects to a b/yellow wire of the same gauge from the ka. The wire is located on a plug under the fuse box near the battery.

Ive been looking at diagram after diagram to figure this out, and this is where i stand. there are two 8 prong plugs on the diagram i have. and the other one shows leads to ABS and AC which i dont need, plus this seems to be the plug described and was also the only 8 prong plug that was in the harness made for the s14. Anyway, the plug in the diagram matches the colors on the plug i have as seen in the picture i am posting, but there is no black and white wire. am i looking at the wrong plug or something? also, i tried to crank the car over lastnight and the solinoid did click (battery was low so that may be why it didnt turn over) but i am right in saying this wire goes to the starter signal right? and if the connection wasnt there the solinoid would not click (i am running the plug from the ka back into the fuse box) So here is a little more input, and i could really use some help. thank you.
