Ok, I want to add 16 wheels on my 90 240sx fastback. What shocks/springs do i need so that i dont have a gap? How much of a drop is required? Keep in mind that i would like to do this with about $500.00. I am not looking to drift this car, just for looks and a decent ride! Any help with brand/prices....info

thanks...newbie

16 wheels! The car only has space for four at a time!Ok, just kidding. To put a decent drop on the car cheaply for a 16" wheel, you can buy some Eibach Sportlines (springs) and install them on your current shocks/struts. If you want to upgrade the shocks/struts while you are at it, the KYB AGX are highly reccomended.

Eibach Pro kit 1-1.5 inches

Eibach Sportline 1.5-2 inches

Other companies have other results. The choice is really yours. I would get the wheels first then find out exactly how for down you want to go. Once you know, you can buy the springs you think will be perfect for you.

it depends what you want to do to the gap...

hurt it slightly (Eibach Pro-Kit):

or destroy it completely:

just remember, nissan shocks will hit the bump stops fairly regularly when you drop the car below 2 inches or so. To avoid that, you'd have to find a shorter bodied strut.
