I know that this has been addressed several times in the past and I have searched it and found info on several similar sizes but just want to be sure before I make the investment. I can choose from two different sets one is 17x7+35 17x8+35 and the other one is 17x8+35 17x9+38. I have a s13 coupe witch is about to receive z32brakes,tein flex coilovers (the car will be lowered to flushness I'm not a ricer I don't want to tuck rim), 5lug,and these wheels if they will fit properly. What i want to know is will either of these clear the brakes&the coilovers and have a nice fitment? I don't mind rolling the fenders, but I don't want to stretch the tires, run wheel spacers, or excessive camber. Thank you in advance for any and all your help.

either one of those sets is going to require spacers to sit flush, how large of one depends on your definition of flush

I would say flush is not to have to run excessive camber or stretch the tires not to rub.it i am interested in these used wheels cause i priced them new and are 2700 these are only 600 for the saving i will just get them repainted/powder coated. Do you run any kind of spacer? How safe is it for performance aspects?(i.e.shakes or shimmies at high speed, lug breakage,) Will they fail for tech inspection if i go to the track?

Search 'spacer' and 'spacers' for answers to those questions.

If you dont mind running spacers (after reading 1000 opinions about them) then definately get the 8/9's.

Well I have read alot and I'm not liking the idea of running spacers. So I have decided to go for new wheelswit BFG T/A KDW tires in the following sizes 17x8 +25 with 225/45 in the front and 17x9 +35 with 245/40 in the rear. I have also read that with this setup I might have to roll my fenders or run more camber depending on ride hieght. All comments on this setup are welcome, and once again THANK YOU ALL for your help.
